Migration and migrants
International migration is a major factor of demographic and social change and for an increasing number of countries, international migration has become the most important factor of population growth. As a result European populations are becoming more diverse than ever before. Our research focuses both on migration flows in a macro perspective to better understand European migration patterns, as well as on migrant behavior at the micro level. Emphasis is put on the demographic and socio-economic position of migrants and the demographic dynamics in migrant families, applying the life course approach to complete the wealth of studies on the structural and cultural position of migrants.

This program provides a survey of the most common actuarial factors as used for life-insurance and pensionfunds.
It has the following features:
- interest rates are adjustable by 0.125%
- payment instants have three options: due,
immediate and continuous
- there are three types of insurances: life annuity,
endowment and term insurance
- seven tables are available for each gender;
devices for age adjustments and age differences
(joint lives) are provided
The factors are being calculated according to classical actuarial conventions. You may prefer to use your own tables instead - then you'll need to change the pertaining files and adjust the script accordingly.
The lack of a convenient detectable scroll event was considered nasty, but was solved hopefully satisfactorily, by way of a "check" for making the indices visible in the view, rather than the values. After having clicked a particular index the position of the view will remain unchanged when switching to the values themselves. Explanation comes with the view.
If one has any problem with "cross-hairing" the values, don't hesitate to contact me.
